I rented a Toyota Camry at Manchester, NH, airport and returned it at Boston, Logan airport after driving it up to Hanover, NH. It was an excellent car and the administrative steps required were minimal. Very good rental.
Excellent Service - 1st vehicle had odor of gasoline in trunk - they made a fast easy exchange of vehicles - no questions asked. Easy in and out.
Excellant service, my flight was delayed and I had 3 coworkers with me. They upgraded me to a larger vehicle for very little extra.
Pick up was relatively easy at the Manchester airport (despite construction). HOWEVER, after I got in my rental and drove away, I realized Hertz never went over the car with me. I should have had them look it over since there were lots of scratches on the car, and even a small crack in the windshield. I certainly did not want to be the one to have to pay for these defects. Drop off before 0700, which is when they open, is a little tricky. You need to search for your records in your glove compartment, which contains somewhat of an envelope, so that you can record your time in and mileage on this. In addition, do NOT forget a gas receipt if you fill up (which I highly recommend, if you don't want to be charged an arm and a leg). I actually paper clipped my receipt to this paperwork, because it wasn't a real envelope, but open, similar to a pamphlet, and I was afraid it was going to fall out, and I wouldn't get the credit. Bottom line, instructions are NOT clear if you drop your car off before they're open. Other than that, I may rent from Hertz again, because they did have the best price that I could find, the car was clean inside, and the service people were pleasant enough. I just hope I can return it when they're open, and I'll definitely look over the car with them, even if it takes 5 extra minutes. It's worth it!
The car was beautiful. I have physical issues and the gentleman that check me out offered to drive me around to the gate and was kind enough to unload my luggage which I couldn't lift. This was in Manchester Airport and New Hampshire. They were excellent all the way around!
