The profesionals over at Mason Racing fixed my abused and neglected mountain bike into like new condition all at a reasonable and affordable rate.
You'll pay retail for parts, and sure sometimes you'll be tempted to get 10% off online. Unless I'm saving more than $50 online I'm pretty happy to walk in get their advice on the goods. Its a tough line to walk, but in the long run its not that much money.
This is for mountain bikes only. These guys are relaxed and professional, helping me with some projects including a 27+ wheel and various stuff. No complaints with service.

I have a beloved old Raleigh bike, and these guys have gone out of their way to keep it on the road. When my seat pole rusted out, they figured out a way to get the bolt turned so they could replace it. They're cheap, friendly and smart. Highly recommended.
