First, the facility is very clean and feels like a nice house, very welcoming. I took my dog here after moving from CA, they got me in same day, and the vet spent a lot of time with us, they were super patient even though my dog was behaving poorly, and they were able to do a lab blood test right there on the spot. I got the results in a few minutes which took days at my old vet. I was shocked at how affordable the visit was, at my old vet I would have paid at least $250 for the visit and testing and here I spent $110 and got the results much quicker. It's a bit out of the way for me, but I will continue to drive the 30 minutes even though I live literally across the street from another vet. Great people and you can tell they truly love the animals and their owners.
This review is overdue; I really should have taken the time a year ago to write about how awesome these people are. Dr. Kim Jones is an amazing veterinarian. I couldn't ask for better care for our dog.
I love this place! The staff are always very friendly and kind and Kim Jones is an excellent veterinarian. Everyone seems to love working there and they're extremely kind and helpful to me and my dog, especially when he was going through some treatments and in pain. They consulted me in the various options to make him better and found a great alternative to surgery. He's back to his normal, bouncy self and he still truly loves to go and see them. They always say how much they enjoy him as well!

They were also incredibly compassionate and supportive when one of our cats suffering from end-stage renal disease needed end-of-life care. As heartbreaking as that event was, I really appreciate how Stoney Brook handled everything with us.
Left another vet to go here. They are very sensitive to the animals and the people that love them.
They also provided a convenient day boarding service so I didn't have to keep leaving work early to take care of bringing him to his treatments. I definitely recommend Stoney Brook Vet Hospital to anyone with a pet!
