The Peking Tokyo in Lebanon, NH, although it is a pretty place, has lousy time management. We waited five minutes at an empty podium to be seated in an area where we couldn't be seen by the wait staff, then after twenty minutes of no drinks and acknowledgement, we were finally greeted with, "We'll be right back with your order". What order? I can't give a rating on the food or drinks because I didn't get any, and I certainly can't give a review of the friendliness because we experienced ten words in the 30 minutes we were there.
Zero acknowledgement walk-in for over 5 minutes, not even a hello. People were right there, just turn backs and do busy work. After seating no table visit for 10 minutes. If only the service was as nice as the decor.
A surprise find! They have authentic Chinese food too. Just ask for it. It is comforting to have some good Sichuan hot food after a rainy gloomy day. Never thought I can find any decent Chinese restaurant in this area. Looks kinda run-down from outside. But once I walked in, a whole different world. Elegant environment and very nice dining setting. Also eye catching awards on the wall. One last word of advice: make better looking menus on the outside wall. The cheap look almost made me miss the good food.
Ordered sushi. It was pretty good for the area. It was pretty empty on a Wednesday evening. Prices are competitive with similar places in the area. It's nice to have a variety to choose from so everyone has something they can order. Service was ok.
Sushi were surprisingly good. Nice size luncheon portions for the price. Beer was cold:)! Service was very good! Otherwise your regular Chinese place (in a good sense:))
